Bookenz Leadership has been developed by Kelly and Judith after many years of assisting less experienced managers ‘stuck’ in their roles with no ability to see how to improve their performance and position within an organization, or to move into another role outside their organization. What most managers lack is an inability to consider strategic career planning.
We are Directors who gained our experience whilst working in the services, consulting and high-risk sectors. We offer over 40 years experience in technical and service industries individual, team or organizational transformations.
Director & Business Mentor
With an extensive career in operational and corporate leadership roles, Kelly help’s people, teams and organisations generally to improve their individual performance and to specifically advise on people development, corporate and clinical governance, due diligence, policy development, audit and risk, strategy and business operations.
Kelly is an experienced mentor and coach however has maintained a particular focus on the managers and supervisors in high-risk, communications and infrastructure environments. An occupational therapist by ‘trade’ but with post-graduate qualifications in safety science, business administration, social psychology of risk and executive coaching, Kelly inspires others to be their ‘best self’ and works with teams towards producing tangible improvements and return on investment. She is a committed speaker at conferences and round-tables, hosts the weekly Bookenz Cafe podcast and publishes her work regularly.

Kelly chairs the Women in Safety & Health (WISH) network and is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion across the Australian Health & Safety profession and in practice.
Currently Kelly has a portfolio career as Consultant (KLRM), individual coach and business mentor (Bookenz Leadership), Non Executive Director (NED) on several Boards (she has a GAICD and MBA) and mum.
Director & Business Mentor
Judith has many year’s experience in senior management in the health and education sectors. Nursing qualifications started Judith’s interest in neuroscience and then further studies brought this interest into the arena of human behavior. Post graduate studies in Trauma; Behaviourial Biology; Management and Education have given Judith a unique insight into how people function in a variety of workplaces; how they function in teams and how individuals will react under stress and ambiguity.
Judith is an experienced mentor and coach, who has maintained a particular focus on managers in the health and aged care sector.
Accredited to undertake Hogan Psychological Profiles adds to Judith’s knowledge base in assisting individuals to identify and manage their personal strengths and weaknesses and utilize this to set realistic goals for their future development. Accredited to undertake Team Management System profiling Judith offers individuals assistance in identifying their preferences in work style; connecting this with team management and development, with the goal of leading a high performing team.
Judith has worked in the UK (within the NHS and education sectors) and was a Fulbright Scholar (the first aged care nurse to win this professional award) who undertook research in the USA.
